The Welding Technology Program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the science, technology, and applications essential for successful employment in the welding and metal industry.
In addition to gaining an overall understanding of welding machines, weld processes, and hands-on proficiency, students develop skills in the areas of print reading, welding symbols, metallurgy, weld inspection, destructive and non-destructive testing. After completing the Welding Technology Degree Option at Sussex, you can transfer to a four-year college to complete a bachelor's degree or enter the workforce!
