The work on display reflects the diverse media and distinct voices driving our department forward and reveals how their personal studio practices feed directly back into the classrooms.

"Between Seeing & Painting," featuring oil paintings and drawings by Professor Janet Cunniffe-Chieffo, explores the transformative act of direct observation and the ways in which lived experience becomes something new through artistic interpretation.

The exhibition brings together oil paintings on copper and linen alongside drawings that celebrate the power of light, revealing beauty in ordinary objects, quiet moments, and the changing colors of the natural world.
