Canvas

The Canvas Learning Management System connects students with their professors.

Canvas is èßäÉçÇø's Learning Management System (LMS) and supports online, hybrid, and many on-campus courses. All courses delivered in an online format use Canvas, while many face-to-face courses also use it to share course materials, collect assignments, post grades, facilitate discussions, communicate with students, and provide timely feedback.

Canvas supports high-quality teaching by providing a centralized, secure environment for course content, communication, assessment, and student engagement. Whether teaching online, in a hybrid format, or supplementing an on-campus course, faculty can use Canvas to enhance the learning experience and keep students connected to course resources.

The Distance Education Team is committed to supporting faculty through instructional design guidance and technical assistance to help make the most of Canvas and its instructional tools.
